Casting/Recruiting for SoG

We need EXTRAS at our concert/shoot thing on May 26th at the Twilight Café! Hit us up in the CONTACT tab, for more details. We're also, REEEALLY close to being totally casted, ready to shoot the whole movie. This project is ZERO-BUDGET/OUT-OF-POCKET, but…

We still need to cast for the part of “BLAKE BALTIM” a “young Travolta,” approximately 25-30. The character is the son of a CEO of a nefarious mega-corporation and a prodigal coke-dealer.

We're also still garnering assets such as locations, props, and wardrobes. If you have interest/background on movie sets, and don't mind working for calories, also consider hitting us up. We're getting together on weekends throughout the summer. Shit's happening!!

Song of Gog

Around the time Feral Drollery was writing their first songs, Gog was also pouring much effort into his surreal, epic mock-biopic screenplay for this movie idea: "Song of Gog". This would be about 20 years ago! Sheesh. Many revisions later, the story is still in development, seeing new drafts (or, at least, the beginnings of them) about once every year or so. Us creative types just can never let shit go! Ha. Anyway, here's a concept for “SoG's” title card scene…

Three New Vids

I was kinda on a roll last night. Churned out some hot garbage… And maybe some passable material, too.

I also updated the lyrics to “Pithy Frog”… Working on more.

In other news, I'm also working on consolidating songs from OBJ and Mortimer into one, while weeding out the weakest links. I expect it to be refreshing! Stay tuned.

Or, stay turnt. :p

LOOEE LEWYY

It's so duuuuuuumb you can embed youtube vids on here but not instagram. Anyway, our friend started livestreaming a little ways into the performance. You miss the "false start" in the vid linked below. To be fair (and for context), most of us had been up all night and were fueled purely on caffeine, luv for the project, etc. Stage manager was on the ball like a champ, but the sound guy kinda dropped it. He did a decent job mixing and working with what I needed, but when it came time for me to start……….. YARGH!

But I'm not here to dwell on the negative. It's only so irksome because I was really excited to start the song strong! Regardless, good times were had overall, and I played my ass off! I'm super grateful to everyone who made this event a success. By the way, the artwork on display at the AFRU Gallery is some next-level awesomeness, too. Much recommend!

So, HERE'S THE INSTAGRAM LINK

As much fun as this was, I'm relieved I get to move on to the next thing. Ha. Stay tuned, bitches!

Presssssssssss and Pressure... Maybe...

Gearing up as we speak, Feral Drollery is getting wound up for an EPIC 15 minute rendition of "Louie Louie," the likes of which have never been heard by sentient ears! Meanwhile, everyone else is getting jazzed as well, as evidenced HERE. Maybe we'll see ya there!
